Abstract
An increasing number of reverse total shoulder arthroplasty procedures has been performed since its introduction to South Korea in 2007.
This review discusses the biomechanical rationale behind the development of reverse total shoulder arthroplasty and its outcomes over time. In addition, this paper mentions ways to minimize the risk of complications that may occur and how to manage those complications.
